How the NOVA public-information site applies data minimisation to browsing, search, and Ask NOVA requests.

This is a public-information website and does not require student accounts. When you browse, the hosting service may process technical data needed for delivery, security, and basic traffic measurement, such as request time, page path, device or browser information, and shortened or hashed network identifiers.
PRIVACY / 02
Search terms and questions submitted to Ask NOVA are used to answer that request. Do not enter names, contact details, health, disciplinary, casework, or other sensitive personal information. NOVA is designed without server-side conversation storage as a normal feature and without raw questions and answers in default operational logs.
PRIVACY / 03
Event registration, maps, social platforms, and other external links are operated by third parties under their own privacy policies. Infrastructure, content-management, media, and AI providers should process information only as needed to deliver and secure the service.

You can choose not to use search, Ask NOVA, or external links. If you believe the site publishes personal information that should not be public, notify NOVA promptly through the Contact page and identify the page without repeating sensitive details in a public channel.
